Description
There is no clasp on this easy to wear Amethyst lariat necklace, it has a loop instead and can be adjusted to length.
Contains lilac amethyst ‘puffs’, purple amethyst 10mm and 5mm round beads. Peacock 5mm freshwater pearls, 8mm Rhodochrosite, Crackled Quartz, Rose Quartz buttons and little round 3mm red garnets.
These are threaded in groups on beading wire. The total length is 21″, with a drop of about 3″ from the loop.
Amethyst is said to help with sobriety. The name comes from the Greek, Amethystos meaning ‘not intoxicate’. A reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkeness.
