Busy Booking Events

The first few months of the year is always a busy time. Application forms have to be submitted and approved. Then we find out which events have space to accommodate jewellery. This is a very popular business in which to be involved and is nearly always oversubscribed. I have tried over the years, to find Craft Fairs that are a bit more careful about offering a good variety of crafts. No-one wants to go into a marquee to find too many of the same thing, variety gives a pleasant choice.

I’m pleased to say my local Craft Market in Forest Row has found a Market Manager and will be back on, first Saturday of the month as before, starting in April. Let’s hope a new manager will have lots of ideas to encourage customers, it had become rather quiet.

There are two Markets where I’m really excited to have been accepted. The beautiful Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells has a lovely market most weekends. I have a day most months there and The Mansion Market inside the Michael Hall School, Forest Row. This is being run on just two dates, 13th May and 9th December.
