We’ve had a lovely week in Ware, even though my partner couldn’t get a signal to watch the bike racing! Many people stopped to chat and I was pleased to sell some unusual pieces.
We are now moving on, hoping to find a mooring in Hertford for a few days, before going back down The Lee.
I think my cat will be happier with less people and bicycles, but I’ve told her that’s what pays for her food!
Please follow me online with my blog. Our boat is called ‘Unfazed’ , a blue and cream widebeam with a Fazer 1000 motorbike in the bow footwell!
Ware is so lovely we’ve decided to be here for the Bank Holiday weekend.
We’ll be open tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd).
Then Sunday and Monday 28th and 29th.
After that we’ll be in Hertford if we can find a mooring!
Look forward to seeing you.
It’s a bit blustery today but we are in Ware, Herts, trading today (Sunday 21st) and Monday 22nd August. Hoping not to get blown away, we’ve tightened the ropes!
We’re travelling along the river Lea and now the Stort. After being warned some of the bridges are very low, we decided to set off after a long dry spell. Unfortunately this is one we didn’t manage to get under! The only damage was our tunnel light.
So, after mooring before the bridge, out with the bikes and we cycled to the end of the navigation at Bishops Stortford. A very interesting town when we visited the museum.
Sadly I can’t trade because we’re not near any towns with good footfall. See you all soon.
